Like Breathing Dirty Air?

Professional air duct cleaning services use specialized blowers, vacuums, and brushes to clean out the supply, intake, and return ducts throughout your home. According to the National Air Duct Cleaners Association, HVAC systems have been shown to act as a collection source for a variety of contaminants. Some of these have the potential to effect health, such as mold, fungi, bacteria, and very small particles of dust. Clearing the Air on Air Duct Cleaning

With spring weather upon us, now is the time to consider having those air-ducts cleaned. Duct cleaning is a great idea when homeowners use it for specific, limited purposes. Unfortunately, it’s a field that has seen its share of wild health claims and fly-by night operators. It’s not without reason that the information provided by both the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) has plenty of caveat emptor. Best Places to Work For 2010

The bell rings, the crowd cheers. It's something you might hear after a big touchdown, a winning basket or a sale at McAfee Heating and Air Conditioning in Kettering. Owner Greg McAfee said anyone who makes a sale -- whether it be $200 or $10,000 -- can ring the bell, which brings cheers from the rest of the office. And for those who spend much of their time out of the office, McAfee uses a two-way radio so they can hear the ruckus.

"Service Business of the Year” Award

At a business awards banquet held on December 11, 2009 in Dayton, Ohio, McAfee Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. was named “Service Business of the Year.” The local awards gala, sponsored by the Dayton Business Journal (DBJ) and presented by Soin International*, is a prestigious, black-tie event held each year at the Shuster Performing Arts Center to honor local companies and business leaders who have outshined their competition. On this night, awards were handed out in seven different categories that gave recognition to a top executive, nonprofit organizations, manufacturers, minority businesses, young and start-up companies, community supporters and service businesses.

2008 BBB Eclipse Integrity Award Winner

McAfee Heating & Air Conditioning was deeply honored to be awarded the 2008 Eclipse Award by the Better Business Bureau. McAfee was also honored with this award in 2003. "Best Contractor to Work For" Award

On January 31, 2007, Greg McAfee, President of McAfee Heating and Air Conditioning Co., Inc. was presented with the 2006 “Best Contractor to Work For” Award. The award was presented at the Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration (ACHR) Expo in Dallas. McAfee was one of 500 companies nominated. According to The Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration (AHR) News, the Dayton, Ohio-area HVAC contractor was chosen as the winner of the “Best Contractor to Work For” contest for the North Central region not only because it is a great place to work, but also because it is a very giving place to work.
